General description

A cell-permeable, potent, reversible, ATP-competitive, and selective inhibitor of rat brain protein kinase C (IC₅₀ = 4 nM) versus myosin light chain kinase (IC₅₀ = 0.12 µM), protein kinase A (IC₅₀ = 510 nM), and protein kinase G (IC₅₀ = 4.8 µM).

A cell-permeable, potent, reversible, ATP-competitive, and selective inhibitor of protein kinase C (IC₅₀ = 4 nM for rat brain PKC). Inhibits protein kinase A (IC₅₀ = 510 nM), protein kinase G (IC₅₀ = 4.8 µM), and myosin light chain kinase (IC₅₀ = 120 nM) at much higher concentrations.
